How to Play Farkle

Goal

Be the first to reach 10,000 points. Bank points each turn to build your total.

On Your Turn

  1. Click Roll to roll all 6 dice.
  2. Click any scoring dice to hold them — they rise up and turn green.
  3. Click Roll again to lock those dice and re-roll the rest,
    OR click Bank to add your turn score to your total.
  4. You must hold at least one scoring die before rolling again.

Getting on the Board

Your first bank must be 500 points or more. You cannot bank a smaller amount until you have opened.

Farkle!

If none of the freshly rolled dice score, it is a Farkle — you lose all turn points and the turn ends immediately. Be careful!

Hot Dice

If all 6 dice end up locked in a single turn, you have scored every die! Re-roll all 6 and keep your accumulated turn score — a great way to build big points.

Strategy Tip

The more you keep rolling, the more you risk a Farkle. A safe bank is often better than a greedy roll!
